Diplomats Union (BDU) celebrated 8 March International Women’s Day

The Union of Diplomats (BDU) celebrated 8 March International Women’s Rights Day with our women in two separate events. Nearly 300 women attended the event hosted by Sisli Municipality at Nazim Hikmet Cultural Centre.

BDU President Musa Karademir said, ‘Gender equality is very important and there is a lot of work to be done to strengthen the place of women in society.’


I. Event: ‘Pioneering Women Exhibition’ consisting of paintings by 50 women artists
Curator: Painter Ulku Cilizoglu, Member of the High Art Council of the Diplomats’ Union (BDU)
Organisation Management: Diplomats Union (BDU) Youth Club Leader Mert Kocatepe
Diplomats Union (BDU) High Art Council Member Arzu Kocatepe also contributed to the project/exhibition with a painting.
