BDU participated in the ‘Turkish-American Relations Conference’ organised by TABA-Turkish American Businessmen Association on 23 August. On behalf of BDU, President Musa Karademir and Board Member Mehmet Nuri Kaynar attended the meeting. Business people came together before and after the conference and exchanged views on commercial co-operation.
The conference started with the opening speech of TABA President Suleyman Ecevit Sanli. Then the Ambassador of Pakistan spoke. After the opening speeches, the conference was chaired by Dr. Yilmaz Sonmez. The speakers were Tayfun Selen, the first Turkish Mayor of the USA and Chairman of the Morris District Board of Directors, and former White House Advisor and Academician Prof. Dr. Sidika Semahat Demir.
