Turkish World Sibling Gathering starts with the celebration of Nowruz on March 21. Nearly 120 non-governmental organizations working on the Turkish World will celebrate “Nowruz” on March 21 at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Turkish World Neighborhood (Topkapı). Many artists and folklore teams will present performances during the day-long festivities. Nowruz Festival will end with an iftar dinner in the evening. The Diplomats Union (BDU) will be among the supporters of this project.
Nowruz: Nowruz, which is the symbol of the awakening of the earth, the arrival of spring, brotherhood, friendship and solidarity and celebrated in a wide geography, is the spring festival of the Turkish nation.
