BDU Organised an ‘International Peace Conference’ on 27 July

As BDU-Diplomats Union, the ‘International Peace Conference’, which we organised together with WOFP-World Peace Organisation & TITU-Belgium Institute of Technology, was successfully held on 27 July via zoom. More than 150 people from 20 countries participated in the conference, which was held with the motto of ‘Offering New Opportunities for Peace in the Digital World’.


The conference was attended by heads and managers of non-governmental organisations, academics, experts, business people and professionals operating in the fields of diplomacy, peace, development, trade cooperation, environmental protection, science and technology, war prevention, peace keeping, crisis management, global mediation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, innovation, R&D, fight against hunger and poverty, migration, terrorism. In addition to organisations such as the United Nations and the European Union, there were also speakers from countries such as the USA, Belgium, Portugal, the UK, Spain, Albania, Egypt, Cameroon and Nigeria.


After the conference, a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ was prepared for all speakers and sent to their personal e-mails. In addition, the topics discussed at the Diplomacy Conference held by BDU on 12 June and the topics discussed at the Peace Conference will be published as a ‘Diplomacy and Peace Book’.
