Turkey was shaken by a 7.7 earthquake on February 6, 2023. Nine hours after the 7.7-magnitude earthquake, the same region experienced a second earthquake, this time with a magnitude of 7.6. 13 million people were affected in this earthquake in 11 provinces. Our pain is too great and cannot be expressed in words. Tens of thousands of people died. There are more than a hundred thousand injured and thousands of people are under the dent.
Aid materials and rescue teams from around the world started to arrive in Turkey one by one. As BDU, we have started to work to help the earthquake region.
